I have great news to report! Since posting two weeks ago on how incremental improvements using Kaizen can benefit the website development process, the example I used has proven itself.
I used my computer classes page at Aden Networks. I adjusted the content to point towards local resources for computer training and computer classes offered by the Science Museum of Minnesota as I’m not teaching any courses right now. The day after posting, I started monitoring my site for the search term “minneapolis computer training” and in two weeks, my page shot up from not listed in Google (<200 not on the first 10 pages) to #23! I just started tracking “minneapolis computer classes” today so we’ll see how that goes.
I’m using SheerSEO to track my keywords and rank history. They just announced yesterday, 8/18/2008, it’s now possible to track multiple domains with a master login. Thsi makes their offering go from lukewarm to hot! It was easy to get setup and you can add multiple pages from your site. The developer, Eyal, was quick and responsive to my support request this week so another plus. This seo software is going to get noticed!
