I'll thank you on my blog!
@wr3n - Nom! Nom! Nom! You sent me a delicious box of Chocolate Covered Cherries and they were so good I had to take a nap! Thank you for sharing your appreciation for the finer things in life!
Grace - Thank you for the chocolate truffles, yum! They really hit the spot!
Matthew J. Harmon, Minneapolis Security Consultant - Thanks for the book on butchering meat from my Amazon wish list! Glad you liked my sleuth work on the Norm Coleman database.
3/13/2009 MSNBC Interview with Rachel Maddow Friday evening!

This is tied to my original post about Norm Coleman’s website being insecure.
Thank you to EVERYONE who has given words of encouragement and support. I know a lot of people would not have done what I did. I am angry of seeing families dealing with identity theft. I’m upset that companies are put at risk by other companies that don’t follow guidelines on security.

@Blue Gal,
That is awesome to hear! I have years of practice with angry computer users who have a broken computer or can’t login to the domain at work.
Recipe for good technology support
============================
+ understand their problem
+ listen to them
+ help them take steps to fix it
+ provide a timeline
+ explain how it was fixed
+ what they can do to keep it working
+ listen to them for feedback
= happy computer user

Nicely done! You should call the Daily Show and ask to be their technology consultant since John Hodgeman has gone on to bigger things.

You are example of integrity, unbiased fairness and sincere concern for others. You definitely practice what you preach. You prove that Techs have not only a mind but also heart.
