I chose Valerie too She’s probably the person that got me interested in kernel development. She was at the first LinuxChix meetup I went to (the first female Linux users I met), and when she said what she did I was like :-O Her “HOWTO Encourage Women in Linux” was something one of the other women in the local LUG had to bring up when the men on the mailing list started asking if I was the model on a blog I write for.

And given the name of this blog, I’m thinking I ought to subscribe to your RSS…
