This is Shelly who I’m “Turtle sitting” over the holiday for my neighbor.

She’s a 15 year old tortoise of some kind (what species is she?) and is really small and cute. Two of her would equal one softball.

She’s pretty quiet but if you move to fast, she sorta hisses.

Here she’s eating a mixture of corn, yams and pears.

Wow! Didn' t know Tortoise's ate such things. Did you get permission from your neighbor before you put her baby's pic on the internet? You know people can be sensitive about their children. LOL!

I fed Shelly today from my hand. I was a bit scared she'd bite me but he
said he does and no biting! Yep! First thing I tell people, “You know I'm
taking photos and they're going on the Internet, right?”

it would be hard to have a tortoise sign a photo release
