TwitterElisaC said on Twitter she didn’t want to upgrade to the new Tweetdeck because of the new RT style that doesn’t allow you to send on Retweets with your comments. Never fear! You can adjust the settings in Tweetdeck. Watch this video to see how.
Steps
1. In Tweetdeck, click the icon in the upper right hand corner that looks like a wrench for “Settings”
2. Select the “Twitter” menu on the left
3. Select, “Edit before sending (Old Style Retweet)
4. Done!

Thanks I never downloaded the new tweetdeck but I feel a little more comfortable now that I saw this. Between the wordpress and tweetdeck updates I dont know what to do lol
