Upload Anything To Google Docs With New 250MB Limit

Wow, Google is doing it again and stepping away from the crowd with it’s latest announcement that you will be able to upload documents of any type and up to 250mb!

I checked my Google Apps account to see if the changes had taken effect but I was still limited to the much smaller sizes of:

  • 500KB for documents
  • 10mb for presentations
  • 1mb for spreadsheets and
  • 10mb for PDF files

This applies to all editions of Google Apps including: Standard (the free one), Premier, Education plus Team and Partners and will roll out in the next few weeks.

I can’t wait!

  • Do Google Apps Premier users enjoy increased per filesize upload limits? eg 3mb file .doc uploads to GDocs?
