Yes, McDonalds is my gateway to my childhood.  The cheeseburgers remind me of time spent with my dad and the chicken McNuggets were one of the first things I was able to buy at McDonalds all by myself!

Sometimes, when I’m sad about missing my dad (or him missing all the cool stuff I’m doing), I go to McDonalds.  This is maybe 2-3 times per year and somehow…it takes me back to childhood.
