Amazon Prime is $79 a year. Now, I fought with this number for a long time. Back in the day, Amazon was offering free trials of the service. Finally, I realized that I spent more time rooting around for “deals” on shipping than I spent sorting my mail so I pulled the trigger and have not regretted it.

Normally you’re charged $8 for 3-5 day UPS shipping. Now everything is expedited free of charge!

Even my gifts to other people ship fast with Amazon Prime so it’s been worth it.
