Adria is focused on education, advocacy and digital equality in the tech world and uses her uncanny ability in explain complex ideas with real world examples to empower people to take action. Adria’s popular YouTube channel on technology has nearly 2 millions views with more than 10,000 subscribers and has lead to opportunities for video projects with Dell, CDW, EMC, Cisco and Samsung.

Embracing her inner nerd, Adria moved moved to San Francisco to pursue her passion for technology. She most recently worked as a Developer Evangelist for SendGrid to show developers how to leverage API’s for better email deliverability until she was publicly fired for reporting sexual harassment at a tech conference.

Previous to that Adria worked for Zendesk, a startup that provides a web based helpdesk solution.  Before making the move to the Bay Area, Adria worked as technology consultant working with  mall businesses, startups and Fortune 500 companies that included American Express, Apple, John Deere, Equinox and more.  Her first tech job was at Geeksquad in 1999.

Adria has been a speaker at numerous conferences including SXSW, O’Reilly Web 2.0, The Lean Startup Conference, BlogHer, Black Enterprise and interviewed by major media outlets including The Rachel Maddow show, NPR, Inc.com and ComputerWorld.
